Break out the champagne, guys! According to a report published by porn search engine PornWatchers.com, humans have successfully watched 1.2 million years worth of porn since 2006. Congratulations, humanity.

The caveat? That number accounts for just two of the Internet's favorite porn sites, XHamster and YouPorn. What of PornHub or RedTube or XTube? Surely if we counted those, and also all of the weird fetish sites, that number would be at least tripled. So proud of us right now.

The report also states that the platforms have reached 93 billion views, which equals approximately 15 views for each human on earth. There have also been 158 million ratings and 8 million comments, a number so large that it kind of defeats the theory that only weirdos comment on porn videos.

Fabian Thylmann, the managing partner of the company that operates erotic websites such as YouPorn and PornHub, was arrested in Begium, according to the website of the German newspaper Die Welt.

Mr. Thylmann, who serves as managing partner of Manwin, was reportedly arrested in the Brussels airport on suspicion of tax evasion. The warrant for his arrest was signed in Cologne, Germany.

While Manwin bills itself as an information technology firm, the Luxembourg-based company is best known for running pornography websites, and overseeing Playboy's web and TV operations.

There's nothing in the Die Welt article indicating whether any of Manwin's sites will be affected.

Betabeat has reached out to a spokeswoman for Mr. Thylmann, and will update when we receive comment.

Unlike the recent Brazzers porn site hack, however, sloppy practices are being blamed for the YouPorn incident, with debug data about users seemingly being stored in a public fashion since 2007.

Because what people think about first and foremost when visiting a porn site is absolutely rock-solid security.

The breached data contains clearly identifiable email addresses that lead to individuals and institutions, such as two instances of someone using a Messiah College email--Messiah is an explicitly Christian institution that promotes "character and Christian faith" in students "in preparation for lives of service." Another series of logins appear to track back to a former student athlete at Alvernia University, which educates students "in the Franciscan tradition." Adults are free to visit legal porn sites, but the institutions in question might have an issue with their names being anywhere near the user database.

On a much more serious note, Naked Security points out that the hacked data can lead to what amounts to identity theft: "if your YouPorn password is now known, hackers might try that same password against your email address, your PayPal account, your Amazon account, and all many of other online resources."
