Despite the awkward-sounding reference to a day of the week (not to mention the fact that the company backing it has "Week" in its name), Websdays will be a monthly shindig, with the first one taking place on July 27th at 200 Orchard.

The event, produced in conjunction with Webutante Ball's Richard Blakely (unlike Seamless, some people apparently see nothing wrong with keeping "Web" in their name), will only be open to a limited number of guests per month. You can buy the $10 tickets here. "Websdays is a networking event for anyone on the web — welcoming developers, digital marketers, bloggers and entrepreneurs,” Mr. Blakeley said in a press release. “But unlike crowded parties with long lines and limited space, Websdays is an exclusive soiree with plenty of room to promote conversation over cocktails." The illusion of exclusivity--sounds like someone been's paying attention to all the beta invites floating around these days.
