You know how some people (like, hypothetically) eat their way through vacation? A little pasta in Rome, some cheese in Paris, barbecue in the South. A new pop-up hotel that recently opened in London is taking that concept quite literally, creating hotel rooms made entirely out of edible goods.

You might want to leave your Nike Fuelband at home for this one.

The Daily Mail reports that the hotel contains over 100 pieces of edible "art," including windowsills made out of fudge, a cake carpet, a bathtub full of caramel popcorn and edible sugar flower arrangements.

Created by sugar company Tate & Lyle Sugars, each room had a different theme: the Pirates of the Caribbean room had a treasure chest full of candy; a Mayan-themed room had a Mayan temple made of fudge; the Guyanese room had a giant seat turtle cake.

This is the stuff dreams are made of. U mad, Willy Wonka?

PEZ dispensers are one of those nostalgia-ridden cultural symbols that recall a simpler time when life was about sugary candy and Pokemon cards and all those other things co-opted by BuzzFeed's Rewind vertical. Who among us hasn't dreamed of having your very own PEZ dispenser, complete with your head affixed gloriously atop that world-changing candy delivery system?

With the help of 3D printing, your childhood dream can now be realized: introducing the personalized PEZ dispenser, complete with a plastic bust of your head adorning the top.

"3D printing is disrupting the medical and manufacturing industries, but what about CANDY?" wondered some lovable geniuses. And BAM. Dreams do come true.

Hot Pop Factory uses an Xbox Kinect to scan your head, and then uses a 3D printer to churn out the final product. Start making these babies in color and you'll be RICH.

There are many industries worthy of large-scale disruption, including dry cleaning and the line at Shake Shack. But one crucial industry that Betabeat forgot to mention in our list of things we wish techies would disrupt? Candy. How could we forget?

According to All Things D, a coterie of celebrities--including bus-riding Square cofounder Jack Dorsey, model Gisele Bundchen and full-time Boston tour guide Matt Damon--have teamed up to sing the praises of a new candy company. Unreal Candy purports to be a natural, non-corn-syrup alternative to the gross chemical-laden stuff that somehow still tempts you every time you enter a bodega.

Many of the people in the video--Tom Brady, Mr. Damon, a doctor--are just local Boston people who can always be counted on for doing local Boston things, which makes sense given that Unreal Candy is a Boston-based business. But why did Mr. Dorsey decide to take time out of his busy schedule to rep for Unreal? Apparently, he truly believes in the disruptive power of all-natural candy.

"It tastes just like you are four years old," exclaims Mr. Dorsey in the promo vid, who obviously did not grow up with parents who went to great lengths to convince him that fruit leather = candy.

Later, he proclaims, "Completely rethinking something we take for granted--those are the innovations I love seeing."

Really, dude? Unreal isn't a cancer-fighting research lab or a charity helping to bring clean drinking water to Africa. It's a for-profit candy company that just doesn't use corn syrup. And unfortunately, it's probably going to take more than a delicious candy endorsed by Jason Bourne to fix America's broken food system.

To be fair, we haven't tried Unreal Candy yet. Perhaps it will turn all of America's children into svelte geniuses. We shall wait and see.

Candy companies will go pretty far when it comes to Halloween time stunt advertising, but Swiss chocolatier Nestle has truly outdone itself this season. The York Press reports that the company has decided to embed a GPS device into the wrapper of some KitKat bars in a bizarre attempt to reward men for eating candy.

The campaign is casually titled "We Will Find You," and will award a 10,000 GBP prize to the six lucky winners who happen to find a tracking device embedded into an otherwise innocuous manufactured treat. The GPS device is activated by a special strip that will be pulled when customers open the candy bar, and a team of Nestle employees will be dispatched within 24 hours to reward the winner with their prize.

Considering no one except hoarders keep candy wrappers hanging around, we assume all the winners will be trash cans and misused recycling bins.

A Nestle spokesperson told The York Press, “We believe this promotion will particularly appeal to men, attracting them to the chocolate singles category and thus driving incremental sales.” Like war movies and video games, all dudes enjoy GPS technology. Everybody knows that.

But Americans need not worry about a candy company following them home. GPS devices will only be embedded in the wrappers of British candies like "KitKat 4 Finger, KitKat Chunky, Aero Peppermint Medium and Yorkie Milk," whatever those are.
