Jared Leto, seminal '90s crush who enjoys rubbing elbows with the international tech elite, has an urgent request for his Twitter followers. The 30 Seconds to Mars frontman is shooting a new music video, and he desperately needs "albinos" for it.

Apparently Mr. Leto never read up on Albinism etiquette, or else he would've known that calling someone an "Albino" is generally considered rather unfriendly.

Don't worry if you don't meet that requirement, though. If you still want to be in a music video created by a person whose most lasting claim to fame is playing a stupid hottie in a short-lived MTV series, Mr. Leto is also searching for "raver kids in LA with light tricks or who can dance."

Has tech wunderkind David Karp decided to take his fashion career to the next level? As we've noted before, Mr. Karp has something of a sideline in the modeling business, having appeared in campaigns for both Uniqlo and J. Crew, as well as a Silicon Alley-themed spread in Vanity Fair. Now, via a tipster, it appears that these days, he's just chillin' with fashion photographer and noted wearer of creepy uncle glasses Terry Richardson.

On Sunday, Mr. Richardson posted a series of photos from, judging by the captions, some sort of dinner gathering at Super Linda. That appalling equine-themed wallpaper suggests they're downstairs, in the basement lounge El Jockey. Also present at this summit: Angela Chase heartbreaker Jared Leto, sporting a beard that could only be described as Rasputin-like. Given the attendees, we can't help but wonder if this meeting was somehow orchestrated by a teenaged Tumblr user with mystical powers of mind control.

Or, as Tumblr's own Chris Mohney put it: INTERNET.

It's not entirely out of the blue that Mr. Karp, who has reblogged three of the images to his own Tumblr, would be kicking it with Mr. Richardson. Tumblr has long had close ties to the fashion world (despite some bumps in the relationship), and the photographer is a high-profile example of the kind of creator for whom Tumblr wants to be a home. Nevertheless, it's hard not to look at the photo above and experience a brief, sharp moment of cognitive dissonance.

We're assuming Mr. Karp neglected to take Mr. Richardson for a spin in his sidecar, because there's no way this life-casting crowd wouldn't post the pics.
