While tech was the focal point of TED in the conference’s early days, the contents of the popular series has certainly broadened for the better. Now, orgasms, porn, and condoms among other sexy subjects have found a place on the stage. From funny to informative and forward-thinking, they’ve been some of the most viewed and most discussed. Here are 10 of our favorite Ted Talks about sex:

1. Cindy Gallop— Make Love, Not Porn

Dating younger men led Ms. Gallop to discover that young people often have distorted views on sex. She argues the Internet’s massive porn collection — which many visit before they have sex themselves— is to blame. In one of the most talked about TED Talks ever, she discusses her attempts to fight the discrepancies between porn and real-life boning.

2. Mary Roach — 10 Things You Didn’t Know About Orgasm

Do you know about knee orgasms? What about thinking your way to climax or having one from brushing your teeth? Find these interesting sex tales and more you didn’t know in this lecture. There’s also a clip of a pig. Wait, what?

3. Julia Sweeny — It’s Time for “The Talk”

In this charming and hilarious TED Talk, a comedian recounts answering her very curious 8-year-old daughter’s sex questions. It started with a school project on frog reproduction and ended with a full-on sex talk with questions from “where do human women lay their eggs” to “does the man just say ‘is now the time to take off my pants?'”

4. Al Vernacchio — Sex Needs A New metaphor. Here’s one …

We’ve spent decades concealing our sex talk with baseball terms, but it doesn’t cut it for Mr.Vernaccio. He thinks we need a new sexual metaphor, and he’s suggesting pizza.

5. Sheila Kelley — Let’s Get Naked

This one starts with an actual pole dance, for one. The talk itself focuses on the hidden “erotic creature” that Ms. Kelley believes lurks inside every woman.

6. Dr. Jennifer Gunsaullus — Sex: Mind full or Mindful?

Where’s the sex positivity? This TED Talk tackles misinformed politicians, the good girl ideology, our lack of open conversation and the way we simultaneously obsess over and shame sex.

7. Christopher Ryan — Are We Designed to Be Sexual Omnivores?

According to this talk, we weren’t always sexually exclusive and we still aren’t in some parts of the world. Mr. Ryan provides a new perspective on our norm of monogamy.

8. Mechai Viravaidya — How Mr. Condom Made Thailand a Better Place

Count on this guy to give you some cool facts about condoms. In his talk, Mr. Viravaidya humorously details the tactics used to encourage the use of condoms in Thailand in the 1970s. He speaks of condom hair accessories and a “cops and rubbers” program, about which we’re not sure if he’s joking.

9. Nicole Daedone — Orgasm: The Cure for Hunger in the Western Women

Here’s some #realtalk about female orgasms. It’s not exactly what the doctor prescribed, but Ms. Daedone thinks orgasms — and a different kind, at that — are what women need. Her insight comes from both her career in orgasmic meditation, and an interesting personal experience involving a guy she met at a party, her nether regions and a flashlight? Hmm.

10. Esther Perel — The Secret to Desire in a Long-term Relationship

It’s no secret that years and years with one partner can sometimes lead to a boring sex life. In this talk, Ms. Perel gives some insight on how to make sure your SO doubles as both a best friend and an erotic lover.
