A cofounder of Gilt is leaving her company to become president and CEO of GLAMSQUAD.

Alexandra Wilkis Wilson is moving from the retail company she cofounded to head up the on-demand beauty service app, which currently offers hair and makeup service in the comfort of your own apartment. She served as strategic advisor and cofounder at Gilt, according to a release.

At GLAMSQUAD, Ms. Wilson plans to “build on a powerful business idea and accelerate growth in new markets in a disruptive, highly scalable way.” Allow us to decode this techspeak for you: this means GLAMSQUAD will probably expand to offer other beauty services and will start serving other markets.

Ms. Wilson has also served on the advisory boards of Birchbox and Rent the Runway, the release states. She’ll assume her new role on Sept. 1.

In the meantime, feel free to bust out your rosary beads and pray for GLAMSQUAD’s expansion into the outer boroughs. Bed-Stuy babes need blowouts too, you know.
