When Ina Garten rings you up for an impromptu dinner party at her stately Hamptons cottage, you have to look your best. But sometimes your best designer duds isn’t good enough for her, so you have to order something special. Net-A-Porter, the online luxury retailer, is now offering same-day delivery to the Hamptons.

Customers must place their order by 10 a.m. and it’ll arrive via a seaplane between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. the same day, which might be cutting it close to dinner, but that’s well before the White Party starts. It’s a partnership between Net-A-Porter and the Standard Hotel (and its seaplane) if you’re curious what the confluence of affluent brands partnerships looks like.

The offer extends from today until Sept. 2 and serves Southhampton, Sag Harbor, Amagansett and Montauk, among others. Net-A-Porter’s president sounds just jazzed by its idea in WWD:

“Our Premier same-day delivery service is enormously popular with our customers in New York City… many [of whom] vacation in the Hamptons. Now if she forgets her bathing suit or is in need of a last-minute outfit, we can deliver to her door within hours.”

Now if only UberCHOPPER can work something out with Katz’s Deli.
