Ray Kurzweil is kind of like a futurist spirit animal. Most devoted futurology students will have already read his prior books, so why not purchase them How to Create a Mind, Mr. Kurzweil's newest tome that came out in mid-November.

TrueCompanion, a New Jersey-based company that claims to have invented the first-ever sex robot, has a pricier option for futurist friends. For just $995 you can own Roxxxy, a sex robot who's "anatomically consistent with a human so you can have a talk or have sex." For the ladies, there's also Rocky, though for some reason he costs $1,500.

Perhaps you know a futurist who wants to become one with the robots as soon as possible. Biohacking might be the first step there. Buy them an RFID chip which they can then get drunk and implant themselves. In the future they might be able to use it instead of a keycard.
