It’s crunch time! President Obama again took to Reddit tonight, this time to the Politics subreddit, in order to urge people to vote (for him, natch).

“Reddit, this is important” reads the title of the post, which links to a page on BarackObama.com that allows users to input their addresses to find their local polling place.

In a followup comment, the President wrote:

I want to thank you all again for the reception you gave me in August for my AMA. Good questions. Definitely not bad.

I’m checking in because polls will start closing in this election in just a few hours, and I need you to vote.

Millions of Americans have stepped up in support of this campaign over the last 19 months, and today we decide what the next four years look like — but only if we show up.

I ask that you go out there and cast your vote, whatever your political persuasion.

You can confirm your polling location here:

If you’ve voted already, don’t stop there — spread the word to your friends, roommates, and neighbors. Think of it as upvoting.

The President used the same handle that he did during his August question and answer session, “PresidentObama.” We’re guessing it was his campaign staff doing the posting, however, since the President is probably a little busy with election day in order to court the coveted neckbeard endorsement.

Since the post appears to be a one-off reminder and not a Reddit/POTUS back and forth, we don’t expect Reddit to go into read-only mode like it did last time. It hasn’t even hit the front page of the Politics subreddit yet.

Keep in mind, potential voters: the President can see if you really voted.
