We start looking for late-breaking tech news every Friday around 4p.m., but let’s face it: That early afternoon stretch is something of an Internet drought.
That’s probably why, right this very moment, #failedtechbands is currently a trending topic in New York City. Think of a band; drop in some high-tech or startup jargon; and boom, Friday afternoon instameme.
UPDATED TO ADD: Matt Silverman points out (via Twitter, of course) that the hashtag is actually a Mashable creation. Guess we aren’t the only newsroom wishing for a little more excitement in our Fridays.
