Betabeat’s Guide to the New York Tech Holiday Party Circuit

elaine dancing party Betabeats Guide to the New York Tech Holiday Party Circuit
Happy almost-December, New York tech! Silicon Alley may not have the PayPal mafia or the Googleplex, but it does have a veritable crapload of winter startup parties easily accessed via public transportation. Wondering where you can party (and bullshit) this holiday season? Betabeat’s got your constantly-updated guide to the hottest and free drink-est soirees in the city, complete with crashability ratings (this blog will not be held responsible for readers who get kicked out). Know of a party that’s not on our list? Prove it.

This post will be updated with startup fêtes and reposted throughout the month. To qualify, a party must be free and be thrown by a company we’ve heard of. Or else it has to look LIKE REALLY FUN. The marathon begins… now.

Want to get your party on the list? Email us, and let us know which details to include. We’ll be omitting the addresses for the most exclusive events (although we tend to believe the more, the merrier when it comes to winter party times. We know Macallan 12 just gave you all that scotch anyway). You won’t be able to make it to all the soirees, but Betabeat’s got you covered—we’ll be covering all the sodden happenings. In the meantime, here’s a Party Cat!

Oh I didn’t know this was just a list of New York open bar parties. The title was a little misleading.

it is a list of nyc tech parties! 1) why quibble over labels when open bars are at issue, 2) digital agencies are a big part of ny tech
