Right now the only way to discover music on the service is through the Facebook connect, which lets you browse public playlists created by your friends. If you stumble on a playlist that is updated regularly, it can become a sort of new music feed.

But if Spotify was able to tap into discovery from services like Hype Machine or Turntable.fm, and get curated content from editorial folks at magazines and music blogs, it would become a way stickier service.
