EarlyStager asked 20 big names from around the New York tech scene to play a game of Gift Roulette.
What would Foursquare’s Naveen Selvadurai get Union Square Ventures Fred Wilson?
The answers include some zingers, inside jokes and a few Etsy shoutouts.
David Tisch at TechStarsNY was Secret Santa for Chris Dixon, co-creator of the recommendation engine Hunch.com. “I’d give Chris the Original Pawleys Island Rope Hammock,” Tisch said. “It’s what Hunch said he should get.”
Dixon drew TechCrunch reporter Erick Schonfield: “I’d give Erick the Fruit Ninja iPhone App so he has something to do during the seven hour meetings he’s going to have to attend now that TechCrunch is owned by AOL.”
Schonfield drew Mike Brown, of AOL Ventures: “I’d give Mike a Magno Wooden Radio or a Franklin Expert Bocce set because Hunch told me he’d like them. I’d throw in a few shares of GroupMe as well, if I had them, because it was a hot deal he wanted to get in on.”
